Joe Russo

Joe Russo has worked in the financial aid profession for 40 years and is currently the Director of Student Financial services at the University of Notre Dame where he has been employed since 1978. He has served as a trainer for the College Scholarship Service, the American College Testing Program, and the U.S. Department of Education. For 20 years he also taught a graduate level course at the University of Notre Dame in student aid administration. He has two books published by The Princeton Review, is the author of numerous professional articles, and has served as the editor of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators’ Journal of Student Financial Aid since 1986.

Joe holds a B.A. in English from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, N.Y., an M.S. in Student Personnel Administration from Syracuse University and a M.A. in College Administration from SUNY at Brockport.
