Bob McLendon

Bob McLendon has 33 years of experience in higher education administration. He has worked at six colleges in a variety of administrative positions, including the Director of Admissions and the Vice President for Enrollment Management at Brevard College and the Vice President for Administration at Spartanburg Methodist College. He is currently the Vice President for Administration and Marketing at Mars Hill College in North Carolina. He is a past president of the Carolina Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers and of the Southern Association for College Admissions Counseling, and authored “Statement of Transfer Students Rights and Responsibilities in the College Admissions Process of the National Association of College Admissions Counselors.” He is currently the Chairman of the National Research Center for College and University Admission’s Advisory Board.

Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree for La Grange College in La Grange, Ga. He has attended the Wingspread Colloquium on Marketing in Higher Education and Public Interest, the Snowmass Institute on Marketing and Higher Education and the Management Program of The Association of Independent Colleges and Schools Management Institute.
