Steve Kerge

With more than16 years experience in higher education administration, Steve Kerge started in the field of financial aid in 1986 and admissions in 1991. Having worked at four universities since 1991 – Adelphi University, Polytechnic University, Hofstra University, and his current institution, New York Institute of Technology as the Associate Dean of Admissions and Operations – Steve has had the opportunity to assist and counsel hundreds of students through the process of selecting a college and financing an education. As an active member of many professional associations, including the National Association for College Admissions Counseling, New York State Association of College Admissions Counseling, Nassau Counselors Association and others, Steve has dedicated a good part of his time to working with colleagues in the field for the betterment of student success.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Money Management from Adelphi University and a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from Polytechnic University.
